This is What Friends are For

To hold your hands and dry your tears,
to cheer you on as you strive to soar,
to reduce your worries and calm your fears,
these and more, are what friends are more.

Love Yourself

Feeling unloved is one thing,
feeling unlovable is another.
The latter is the very first
step to self-destruction.

When you begin to feel unlovable,
you stop loving yourself.

You can survive if other
people don’t love you,
but you can’t, if you don’t love yourself.

Frienemy

The enemy of your enemy is not automatically/necessarily your friend.

How Do You Feel?

How do you feel when you look at the
body that should have been your lover?
Does it make you sad that your lover is dead,
or are you grateful that the body is
alive for you to see at least?

FriEND

That a person has chosen to drown with you doesn’t make them your good friend. When you gasp for breath in life’s sea, the bad friends aren’t the ones who walk away, for they aren’t your friends at all. The bad friends are the ones who jump in with you when they should be pulling you out.

Bad Friend. Dab, Friend

Loves you when you’re weak,
hates it when you’re strong.
Might shout “go” for you the loudest,
but when you move an inch, you’re wrong.

You need to end that friendship.

The Hole Time

The whole time was the hole time.
Each time, we dug,
wherever we were,
whenever we wet.

Many times, we dug,
us two complete strangers who
liked the idea that we were one.

Every time, we dug,
so much so that we would sweat profusely,
but we couldn’t find each other
despite all the work.

All the time, we dug,
the whole time, at hole times,
we buried our love a-lie-ve.

Every Buddy

Everybody deserves a loyal buddy.

It’s Not Right

“I know my right” today,
“I know my right” tomorrow.
One day, your right will be
all you have left.

It’s your right to not give your chair up for a person with a disability, and it’s your right to not let a car merge in front of you, but these are examples of instances where you can display good attitudes as an individual and a citizen.
